Earn your degree online, one course at a time, with the Bachelor’s in Integrated Professional Studies.

If you are interested in the Bachelor’s in Integrated Professional Studies (BIPS) program but not yet ready to apply, consider taking a class as a Visiting Student. You can earn college credit for a BIPS course without being formally admitted to UNCG. (Fair warning — once you take a course, you’ll be hooked!) Part-time is a good strategy

Just the thought of going back to college can be overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to be. Your goal is to move forward in a way that’s reasonable for you. If you have work and family responsibilities, for example, you can take one or two courses a semester and work toward your degree at your own pace. You can always start part-time and pick up more classes later. The important part, of course, is STARTING.

7 weeks at a time

BIPS courses were designed for busy people, so they’re fully online and just 7 weeks long. (They cover a full semester’s worth of material in half the time.)

The 7-week online format was a good fit for BIPS student Candace Stradford, who works in the banking industry. “I would tell someone who’s interested, just try a class. It’s 7 weeks,” she says. “Just see how much better you feel after taking one of the courses, and I promise that it will be something that you’ll want to continue.”

Slow and steady wins the race

Even if you take one course at a time, you will make progress, and that’s what counts. Remember, each 3-credit course gets you that much closer to finishing your bachelor’s degree. It’s OK to start small if that works best for you. Before you know it, you’ll be finishing BIG at your college graduation.
